The preparation of the Local Development Framework is a public process and your full representation and/or a summary of your representation must be made public for this purpose.

The representation you submit on the Local Development Framework (LDF) will be used in the plan process and may be in use for the lifetime of the LDF. The information will be analysed and issues raised will be considered by the Council.

Please note that representations cannot be treated as confidential and will be made available for public inspection at the Council offices, and available to view on the Council’s website (www.southhams.gov.uk) and on the Council’s LDF consultation portal at http://consult.southhams.gov.uk.

The Council may use automatic scanning and publication of paper based representations and will attempt to avoid signatures of people appearing on the Council and /or its agents’ web sites, but cannot be held responsible for any consequences arising from a representation being submitted that includes a person’s signature.

Any person can ask to be included on a contact list maintained by the Council or its agents which contains name, mailing address, email address, fax and telephone numbers. If you choose to be notified of further progress about the subject of your representation then your contact details will be used by the Council to contact you.

The Council may use one or several methods to provide information to those on this contact list but does not guarantee that it will use all or any method to provide information.
